Chipper Day Thursday August 16th – Free Curbside chipping and removal
Please consider replacing this hazardous vegetation – bamboo, cypress, juniper, pampas and jubata grass, and conifer trees – with fire resistant plants to maintain defensible space around your home.
Restrictions: Material to be chipped should be in organized piles of wood and brush at your curb by 8:00am on Aug. 16th. The material must NOT contain nails, screws, building or fencing materials, wire, cement, rock, stumps or root balls (those materials will be left behind).
Emphasis is on fire hazardous vegetation, though all species are accepted.
Registration required to assure your address is included.
