Last year, Beth Miller had an idea for LV. What if we could create “gingerbreadlike” houses for the holidays, inspired by the special modern architecture that’s seen throughout most of our neighborhood?
This idea became a reality at the first annual Holiday House Decorating Party, held on Fri., Dec. 5th. Turn-out was great; there were rsvp's for over 50 kids, and the community center was bustling with pre-holiday excitement as the kids created their own visions with graham crackers, frosting, and a plethora of candy decorations. Fun was had by all as the kids and parents alike enjoyed the snacks and hot chocolate and watched the houses come to life.
Thank you to the Social Committee for hosting the event - and a special thanks to Beth Miller for leading the charge!
